Fun Wedding Ceremony: Nick and Aubrey
Nondenominational wedding ceremonies can be fun, unique and personalized. I got to tell Nick and Aubrey’s story a few weekends ago and had an absolute blast. They are obviously best friends, who love each other very much and I’m grateful to have officiated their ceremony.
They love sports and competing against their friends and families. When I mentioned the Denver Broncos during their ceremony, Aubrey’s family coughed and had fun trying to detract from any fun the Broncos fans might be having. If you’d like to hear a bit of their story, click below.
I love meeting great couples and telling their story. Nick’s German Shepherd was their matchmaker. He introduced Nick to Aubrey by going under her legs, while outside their apartment complex.
Their ceremony was held at Venue at the Grove, a rustic setting in Phoenix. Madison was their venue coordinator and she was great. Their DJ was Steve from Direct Sounds and their photos were taken by Carly Komar.
Contemporary nonreligious and nondenominational weddings can incorporate anything you like. It’s your wedding and should go the way you want it to. Remember, it’s a presentation of your truth and no one else’s.
You can honor the sincerity of the occasion and still have a fun wedding ceremony!
